TERMS & CONDITIONS - COMPETITIONS
1: The dates and times of the competition will be promoted on air.
2: Listeners can enter as often as they chose.
3: There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable.
3.1 Any entries which are incomplete, incorrect, inaudible, incomprehensible, or not received by SMUC Radio by the due deadline will be void.
3.2 An entry to the competition will be deemed to be invalid where an entrant has evaded payment of any applicable entry charges.
3.3 In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the correctness or acceptability of any answers given by entrants, or the operation of any part of the competition, network or phone system, the decision of SMUC Radio shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into
3.4 SMUC Radio will not be liable to reimburse expenses incurred in making an entry and no refund will be made for the cost of any entry
3.5 SMUC Radio reserves the right to reject bulk entries.
4: If SMUC Radio call the selected listener to take them on air and they do not answer the phone SMUC Radio has the right to move on to the next caller and so on.
5: No prize is open to employees of SMUC Radio, their agencies or associated companies, their immediate families or anyone associated with the competition.
6: To enter you must be over 16 years of age.
7: SMUC Radio’s decision is final and legally binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8: Promoter: SMUC Radio, St Mary’s University College SU, Waldegrave Road, TW1 4SX.
9: Please allow 28 days for delivery of prizes.
10: All winners will be required to take part in publicity/advertising if required by SMUC Radio.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - TELEPHONE/TEXT/EMAILS
1: Only text messages with the word “TXT SMUC” sent to 83831 in front of the message will be received by SMUC Radio. SMUC Radio cannot be held responsible for unreceived text messages and/or services received/activated as a result of not following the clear instructions. TEXT SERVICE POWERED BY fortumo.com
2: Text messages can only be received from UK mobile networks. They charged at 50p per message although check with your telephone service provider if they charge you more for this. TEXT CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER: 020 8240 4312/studio@smucradio.com.
3: Telephone calls to our 020 3286 number are charged at local rate from landlines and maybe considerably more from mobile phones. Please check with your service provider for more details.
4: SMUC Radio will not accept requests/competition entries via it’s 020 8240 number. This is strictly for admin and marketing/advertising calls only.
5: SMUC Radio will endeavor to answer every phone call and read every text; however, due to legal requirements this may not always be possible. SMUC Radio will not be liable to reimburse expenses incurred in sending a text and/or taking a call that does not make it to air. There are no guarantees that every text/call made will be broadcast.
6: Any voicemail recording left on SMUC Radio telephones maybe used in/for broadcasts.
7: Only emails send to the studio at smucradio.com address are received by the on air presenter. There is no guarantee that your email will be read out by the presenter. Some competitions do not accept email as a valid entry. Presenters will make this clear at the time of the comp.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - DATA PROTECTION
Information and data which is provided by entrants when they enter ("personal data") will be held and used by SMUC Radio and their suppliers and contractors in order to administer the competition/research. Entrants' personal data may also be passed to their mobile phone provider or to relevant regulatory bodies, the police or other authorities in the course of the investigation of any complaints or suspected unlawful activity or where requested by the phone provider in connection with the billing arrangements for the competition. Aggregate and non personal data may also be used for the purpose of undertaking market research or in facilitating reviews, developments and improvements to relevant services.

These terms and conditions are available in English only and shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Any unlawful use of this brand name and/or of its’ logo (four purple ovals decreasing in size and a microphone in place of the letter ‘i’, copyright protected) will always result in prosecution.
